I'm running this years Great North Run in memory of my Grandma Louisa. I was only seven when she passed away after suffering heart problems. Forty years have gone by, but heart disease still affects thousands of families across the country-I want to help change that. I want to see kids grow up knowing their Grandparents and hearing the stories they can pass down-that's just one of the reasons why I volunteer for the BHF-and why I hope you'll help change peoples lives so that families can have longer together.
