We're bringing a new way of scanning to the area to make the diagnosis of prostate cancer quicker and easier, but we can't do it without help from you!

Story

My Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer 6 years ago and he passed away in July, finally at peace from his arduous journey. He could have been diagnosed earlier, especially  if he was more aware of the symptoms which he had been ignoring for several years prior to diagnosis. I hope to swim around Burgh Island (approx 1 mile) in my dad's honour, as this was a place that he loved and because I want to fundraise for this worthy charity to facilitate an early diagnosis for other dads, grandads, uncles, brothers, husbands, sons, nephews & friends...

I will be swimming alongside my father-in-law Pete and sister Anna, however I doubt I'll keep up with them, as they have been training properly for months  and I just have 10 days to train, as I only found out that I could enter the swim  today due to a last minute cancellation...sink or swim...I'll be fine...hopefully!?
