Story

Hi everyone!

Those of you who knew me in my student days may remember that, until 2005, I used to sport quite a lengthy ponytail (see the archive pic).

Over the last few months, people have suggested, cajoled and, in one case, even begged me to bring the ponytail back.

Now I'm asking you to 'put your money where your mouth is' and help me raise funds for Albinism Fellowship UK & Ireland at the same time!

How this works
From Thursday 11th October 2012, for every £1 I raise (not including GIftAid), I will go another day without getting a haircut.

I'm hoping to reach £365, as Friday 11th October 2013 will be the first day of Albinism Fellowship's Family Weekend Conference, which is what all donations will go towards. Of course, anything over and above this is always appreciated.

About Albinism Fellowship
Albinism Fellowship
is a positive and social organisation dedicated to providing advice and support for people with albinism, like myself, their families and professionals working in the field!
It is run purely by volunteers, and relies on donations and grants to support our activities.

So please dig deep for the sake of the AF and my long flowing locks!

Update - February 2014
Thanks to everyone for helping me exceed my £365 target by such a significant amount.
By popular demand, I'll keep the page open and the hair growing for as long as people keep donating!
Donations will continue to support the ongoing work of Albinism Fellowship, including funding upcoming family conferences in the UK & Ireland.
