I have been growing my hair for over a year now to donate it to a cause which is very close to my heart - cancer. I lost my father because of cancer nearly 30 years ago when there was no cure for this ailment. Today, we are lucky to have treatment options for cancer but not every cancer survivor can be ready to face the world with a different appearance, especially a child.

To some of us, our hair is just hair but to those battling cancer, it is hope! I will be donating 12" or more of my hair to Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs free of charge to girls and boys who have lost their own hair due to cancer. 

I am taking this opportunity to accompany my hair donation with your generous contributions to maximize the impact. 

The cost to the charity to purchase one wig on average is around £350 when they cannot source the hair wig made from donated hair. Absolutely any amount that you can contribute towards this cost will help the charity to continue to provide wigs to the boys and girls that need them.

Donating through JustGiving is simple and fast. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

If you wish to use a different payment method like cash or mobile money, please get in touch with me. I will collect all non-card payments and transfer it through the card through this one medium. 

Donating in installments:

Finally, if you would like to contribute a sum over a period of time (in installments), it's possible too with May-June-July-Aug (latest by 15th August!)
