In 2015 at PopGems Academy, we decided to do something rather exciting called 'THE GENERATION GEMS CHALLENGE' to raise money for St Christopher's Hospice. 

It was a HUGE success raising £1562 by students bringing their sponsored family members to join them in classes, and in 2016 we did it again and raised over £2163!

For 2017, we have already raised £418 (on the page) from our PopGems Charity Performance that took place on Saturday 27th May. If we can raise a further £857 to during our XMAS THEME GENERATION GEMS event, this means we will have raised £5000 for St Christopher's in 3 years! How amazing would that be!?!

On our last week of term (Tuesday 5th & Saturday 9th December) students can bring a family member(from any generation) to join in their classes with them. 

As it's so close to Xmas this year, we are going for a FESTIVE XMAS THEME!!

Fancy dress is optional but there will be prizes for the best dressed. Ideas: Santa, Mrs Claus, Snowman, Olaf, Elsa, Rudolph, Elf, Snowflake, Tinsel, any festive accessories. (Students can wear fancy dress as well as their adults, or popgems uniform is ok as normal)

Depending on the individual situation, you could be sponsoring the adult to join in.. OR sponsoring the student to ALLOW them to join in! 

RULES:

* Participants are required to raise a minimum of £10 each.

** Students that collect any cash sponsors, will be uploading their total amount collected directly to this page themselves. If friends and family would prefer to sponsor online via this page, don't forget to leave the name of who you are sponsoring so that this can be added to their total.

*** The student who raises the most money will receive a TROPHY & a FREE half term of classes! 

Classes taking part:

TUESDAY 5th DECEMBER: Mini Movers Street, Street Dance1 & 2, Boys Street Dance, Musical Theatre 1 & 2. 

SATURDAY 9th DECEMBER: Minigems1, Minigems2, Performing Arts Groups A, B & C.

This is an extremely worthy local charity, which is very close to many of our hearts at PopGems Academy. Any amount that you can sponsor would be greatly appreciated.
