As a company we’ve been supporting Zoe’s Place for over 4 years, and each year we try to come up with a new way to make money for the wonderful work they do.This year’s charity committee must have been feeling particularly adventurous when they suggested the Wolf Run, but 21 people from Portus are taking up the challenge!
The group is of varied ages and fitness levels, but it’s safe to say it will require some serious training from everyone involved. As a pack, they’ll be tackling what is basically a mud-drenched 10k obstacle course: running, climbing, jumping, wading, quite possibly swimming, to get to the finish line. Did we mention the mud enough? Because there will be SO MUCH MUD.
Where do you come in? We’d love your sponsorship! Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice in Coventry provides respite and palliative care to babies and infants up to five years old who have life limiting or life threatening conditions. Their specially trained team are amazing, and their Hospices are the only baby-specific hospices in the UK. The work is very dependent on charitable giving so every single pound you can pledge will make a real difference to the life of a baby and their family.
