Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. We would like to raise awareness of blood cancers and the plight of children who lose a parent at a young age. We would like to encourage support for Bloodwise.
Our sister, Uche Abanulo, a prominent professor, devout Christian, loving mother and wife, passed away on the 25th of November 2016 from lymphoma at the age of 35. She was diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma and in spite of available treatment she succumbed to the disease within four months. She was a professor of Engineering with a passion for educating young people especially in STEM. In addition to her interests in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) education for pre-college students, Dr Abanulo's research interests included speech processing and analysis for speaker recognition and speech enhancement.
She leaves behind her husband Jude and three young children.
