Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On 2 June 2014, we (Marc Preston, Steven Turnbull, Peter Robertson and Jason McEvoy) shall begin our climb to Uhuru Peak at the top of Kilimanjaro at 5,896 m, Africa’ highest summit and the tallest free-standing mountain in the world.
We will be raising funds for Nicola Murray Foundation and Sarah’s Promise, with all of the funds being split between the two charities.
Nicola Murray Foundation was set up in memory of Nicola Murray, who sadly died on 28th April 2010, only 4 months after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer.The charity was set up to fund research in to ovarian cancer For more information on the charity and the research they are doing please visit the website www.nicola-murray-foundation.org.uk
Sarah's Promise, was set up in memory of Colin Hardies daughter, Sarah, who tragically died at age 9, and is a charity which Marc Preston of Destination Judo has supported for several years, for more information on Sarah's Promise please refer to www.destinationjudo.com/charity-news.
