We provide support and fund vital research to make myeloma history

Story

This September I'll be on the bike and riding from London to Paris with a team of riders from Amgen to raise money for Myeloma UK.  Starting on 5th September, we head out from London for 4 days and 300 miles in the saddle before arriving in Paris, pass around the Arc de Triomphe and on to the Eiffel Tower.

And to keep the momentum going, the following weekend (starting 14th September) I'll be back on the bike for another 4 days in the saddle, cycling the 416 miles from St. Ives (Cambs) to Edinburgh.

Myeloma is an incurable but treatable blood cancer originating in the bone marrow.

Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma – their ultimate goal is to find a cure.  Myeloma UK is dedicated to ensuring that patients get access to the right treatment at the right time, and to improving standards of treatment and care through research, education and awareness raising. They also provide a range of information and support services to patients, family and friends to help deal with a diagnosis of myeloma.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
