Why we are running:

Violet Death

About ten years ago my Dad wasn't feeling very well. He was having pain on his left side that had been persisiting for months. Worried about what it was, he waited nearly a year until he finally had it checked out. We were luckily that they had caught it quickly enough, and the problem in his bowel never turned cancerous or spread. He now gets checked yearly, and I go every 2 years as a precaution. Don't die of embarassment. If you are having problems see your GP and have it checked.

Ms Moll

I've done Race for Life a few times and loved it - great fun. But there is a serious side to this, fundraising for a cause that is very close to my heart.

Many of my friends and family have been affected by cancer, and I lost both of my parents to this terrible disease.

Running Race for Life and raising money for Cancer Research is a great way to feel I'm doing my bit to help fight against cancer.
