Story
Ran Sunday May 11th
It was a very hot day (mid 80s!) and not a cloud in sight. I walked most of the way, running only in the shadey bits and once the finish line was in sight. I got round in about 45 minutes. My only stop was to get a stone out of my shoe! 2000 women took part.
Dilly accompanied me and there are photo's on her blog. Click here to go to them!
Why this charity?
I had a tumour in 2003 and was lucky: it was benign. But two years later my friend Giovanna died of Breast Cancer ..........
My fiance is worried at the moment about two aunts who are receiving treatment for cancer....... in fact it seems that most of us will know someone who is touched in some way by this disease.
Thank you for visiting my Race for Life fundraising page.
