Dear all,

For the three of us, the plan to run Race for Life did not start as a fundraising exercise, instead it was much more about participation.  However, our world's have all been rocked by cancer in the last 12 months, so we can truly appreciate the potential value of work undertaken by Cancer Research UK.  Knowing the affects of cancer on loved ones, friends and families provides an incentive to add some sponsorship to our athletic (or potentially not so athletic!) endeavours on the course.  Sponsorship then became even more worth while when Accenture (Leona's new employer) agreed to match money raised up to £100.  It may not be a huge target, but every little bit is going to a very good cause. 

If you would like to sponsor us, keeping in mind that each pound is really two thanks to Accenture, the website is easy and secure.  Otherwise, just think of us pounding the pavements on 4 June.
