This is my third year of running Race for Life and as with every year im buzzing to do it. Its a great day of superb energy.

Race for Life has a close meaning to my heart, in 1986 I lost my mum to Cancer. i'm running Race for Life for her. Though in recent years ive also lost other members of my family to Cancer, My uncle Ted and my Aunite Maureen. This year also saw my friend Trudy lose her mum from a long battle against cancer. some of the mums from her daughters school were planning to do a tributed run on Christines behalf but with the islands race being cancelled i will now be running on Christines memory also....... running for My mum and hers.....

In 2010 I ran Race for life  5k in 44 minutes and  last year 33 minutes.

Due to the cancelation of the isle of wights race i will now be taking part in the portsmouth race on 22nd July and running the 10k race. This will be a huge challange for me so please take the time to sponsor me and help motivate me to complete my Race!!!
