The Ray of Hope (36601 account) raises money for the Maternity and Neonatal wards at Leighton Hospital . We also knit and sew for the babies.We aim to purchase items for the wards that the hospital will not or can not afford to buy. In the past it has included blinds, curtains, V nursing pillows.changing stations,memory boxes, Our last major item was the purchase of an Incubator that can be used by twins. We have just heard that at last the money has been released and should be here shortly.  Thank you so much to all who have participated.

It is the first time we have tried this as the hospital will not allow our stall in the outpatients  we are now very grateful for all your help. .

We are now raising money for a Billirubin metre. for ward 23, post natal ward. The cost Was £2,233.00.

The Neonatal ward would like some recliner chairs to help mums to rest whilst is there and also they will help very much with Kangaroo care (Skin to skin) The costs including VAT will be approx  £1250 per chair so  they need at least 9 or 10.
