Still raising money in memory of our 'Ray of Sunshine' ............................ - he only thought of others during his last days at the Bury Hospice wanting to help others by giving and inspiring others to give. 

All donations to this page are gratefully received even if it is a token gift  to leave a message eg a birthday remembered, a Christmas wish, in loving memory etc this will only cost a minimum donation of £2 (gift aid it).

Your donation doesn't have to be in cash I will take any unwanted gifts, good quality clothes etc, DVDs, gold, silver etc to the Bury Hospice Warehouse for you.  I have even taken a wedding dress (not mine).  £149.25 plus gift aid of £37.31 raised so far in the shops from goods donated in Ray's memory.

That is why he started this just giving page, whilst he was a patient In Bury Hospice and why I continue to raise money to help future patients in his memory.

Ray started this page when he was a guest at the Bury Hospice.  He wanted to thank them for their hospitality during his stay because from the moment he arrived on Thursday 5th August 2010 the care they gave him  and myself was second to none.  Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the surroundings and facilities at the Bury Hospice are unbelievable.  From the moment he arrived he has found great comfort and peace and although on Monday 9th August 2010 Ray sadly died whilst still there he could have been in no better place.  Ray wanted to start off this fund raising as a thank you to them and to ensure Bury Hospice are able to continue to offer this to people who need their care.  Jewels Lightfoot
