This year marks 98th anniversary of the RAF and with it 100 years of Aviation in Licolnshire is being celebrated in Lincolnshire at some of the RAF Stations, Waddington and Cranwell both have their centenary celebrations this and started life as just grass landing strips.
It's also the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of the Somme one of Britain's most bloodiest.
It's also my last year in the RAF so the plan is to leave on a high note.
So the plan to tell the stories this year and raise a bit of money for charity will see me returning to Airfield Anarchy this year, after an off the cuff comment made last year about doing a 100k! Over 11/12th of June wil see me doing laps of the course and trying to the 100k mark. No body armour though this year!
The RAF Benevolent Fund is the leading charity for support to Serving, retired and familes of the RAF. the support they give is always in demand in many ways weather its counciling, finical, or support to those who have left the service.
Keep a close eye on Twitter and facebook to follow training, read some of the stories of those that gave all and for the work done by my chosen charity the RAFBF.
