For those of you that know me, you will know how special my family are to me, hence why i've agreed to run the GNR for an amazing charity who helped my handsome nephew Martin, and beautiful niece Stephanie through one of the toughest times of their lives, Tiny Lives!

The tiny lives trust is a registered charity that helps to care for premature and sick newborn babies, their mothers and families in the special care baby unit of the Newcastle Neonatal Service based in Ward 35 of the Royal Victoria Infirmary based in Newcastle.

On the 31st January 2017, Oliver made his appearance, 12 weeks early and weighing a teeny 995g, and Stephanie and Martin needed the help of these brilliant people. To watch Martin and Stephanie through this time was gut wrenching, and to not be able to help, other than to be there if they needed us, was hard. 

The care, love and guidance they received made them the strongest parents I have ever encountered, they became a lot of peoples heroes without even knowing it!

Ruby became a big sister, and what a gorgeous big sister she is, but it was a tough time for Ruby too, not understanding why Mammy and Daddy had to rush around all the time, but you know what, she took it all in her stride and loves her baby brother Olly so much.

Please help me raise as much money as possible for families that are about to face the difficult times Martin, Stephanie and Ruby were faced with over the months following Oliver's arrival.  It doesn't matter how much, every bit counts!!! 

I will continue to love with all of my heart, and give as much as I can to those who desperately need support, (possibly will need a new back at the finish line) surely all my lovely family and friends can too?
