We care for babies, children & young people to help make every moment count

Story

The Reed Wheelers will once again be undertaking a grueling 300 mile cycle this September in an attempt to raise much needed funds for Shooting Star Chase.

Shooting Star Chase is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, we are here to make every moment count. We support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

The cycle itself will consist of 3 days of navigating part of Ireland's West
Coast - "The Wild Atlantic Way". Our journey will take us from Cork to Galway, hugging the picturesque coastline and over all the hills between!

This year’s team is made up of the following:

Darren Wright (c), Jonathan Viz (support driver), Shane Hannam, David Todd, Matt Need, Neesam Mohoboob, Clinton Erasmus, Alex Bowden, Catherine Trevor, Charlie Cracknell, Shane Lewis, Craig Moyes (ex Reed), Neil Simpson (ex Reed)

Any donations received will go a long way to ensuring the current level of care can be maintained. Currently only 10% of the funding needed is gained through government grants so they really do rely on supporters giving generously to keep the service running, so please donate if you are able to.
