On August 6th I'll be running round Jersey in aid of the British Heart Foundation (BHF). is a charity organisation in the United Kingdom that funds research into improving treatment, diagnosis and prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD).

CVD is responsible for more than 27% deaths in the UK (c. 155,000 deaths per year) and there are an estimated 7 million people living with CVD in the UK so chances either you or someone you know has been affected by it.

Since BHF was established and due to the fantastic work they do the annual number of CVD deaths in the UK has fallen by more than half and the age-standardised death rate from CVD has declined by more than three quarters. This also massively reduces the economic burden on the UK healthcare service.

So please help the BHF to continue the vital work they do donating to my page.
