In Mid-2012 my Dad, who has always been a strong and fit man, was diagnosed with Leukaemia. This came as a complete shock to my whole family and I. During the final half of 2012 my father underwent a course of chemotherapy in an attempt to tackle his Leukaemia. Unfortunately, the chemotherapy was not successful. However, thankfully my Dad is still with us and doing his utmost to live as fuller life as the disease and risks associated with it will allow.

To help people like my father and countless others, I am raising money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research to help in the fight against the disease.

I do not believe in asking people to sponsor me or donate for things that I have already done and accomplished, so I am going to do two things that I have never done before. Both challenging in their own way, a challenge that is have termed "Doing the Double".

On June 14th 2013, I will be doing a FREE-FALL PARACHUTE jump at Sibson Airfield, Peterborough, after completing training to AFF Level 1.

Then, on August 11th 2013 I will participate in "THE PEOPLE'S TRIATHLON" in Shropshire. I have chosen to do the Olympic distance (1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run). 

Both of these are firsts for me and present significant challenges. 

I am doing this for my Dad.
