We have set this page up to raise support and awareness for the Cura charity in order to help raise funds. CURA is a local charity known to us personally and is based within our local area. They solely run on donations and volunteered manpower.
CURA supports Breast Cancer patients in the London Borough of Hillingdon and neighbouring Home Counties including Middlesex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
It’s likely that everybody knows someone who has been diagnosed with cancer and one in eight women will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Such diagnosis is bad enough, but for many Breast Cancer patients their anguish is increased by money worries, which cause additional stress.
CURA has no overheads and all funds raised are used to help patient applicants; the charity has no permanent staff or administration costs and relies on donations and fundraising activities to make grants. CURA is committed to helping Breast Cancer patients regardless of whether they are being treated by the NHS or the private sector.
