I'm sure many of you know that I have just returned from an amazing week in Lourdes with the HCPT Manchester Region. HCPT is a charity very close to my heart who take disabled and disadvantaged children on a life-changing trip to Lourdes. During this week, the children share laughter and experiences they might never get to have otherwise.  Volunteers like myself pay our own way, but are also tasked with fundraising for the children so their families don't have pay for them to go on this amazing trip. It costs over £700 to take one child to Lourdes and the Manchester region take 30-40 children every year. That's a lot of maths but I know it's a huge chunk of money!

This year I am running the Manchester 10km for the fourth time for HCPT, who are celebrating their 60th anniversary this year. I'm not a runner at all, but am hoping this year to do the run in 60 minutes to celebrate 60 years. Any donation big or small would be much appreciated and be going directly to the charity that plays such a huge part in my life.
