Story
For the third year in a row I'll be raising funds to Prostate Cancer UK, this time in memory of my dad, Antonio Ferreira Pinto, who passed away last August aged 64 years old.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. It’s a disease which kills one man every 45 minutes – that’s two men during a football match. But Prostate Cancer UK know that we can turn it around. Our aim is to make this a disease the next generation need not fear.
For that reason I've decided to take on two challenges:
- I’m taking part in Football to Amsterdam, a two day, 145-mile bike ride to the Dutch capital. We’ll be putting football rivalries aside to tackle prostate cancer once and for all;
- The second one is called The Grand Depart and consists of the first stage of Tour de France, cycling a week before the pros, a 200km, single day, bike ride taking place in Belgium this year! As simple as that.
If you feel generous today please help our cause and let's stop Prostate Cancer from being a killer!!!
Thank you ever so much!
