Story
I am taking part in the YMCA’s Sleep Easy to raise awareness of homelessness in Lincolnshire. This is the 10th year of the 'Sleep Easy' which sponsors sleepers to spend a night replicating what it feels like to spend a night on the street.
Since 2010, across the UK, more than 6,000 people have slept rough for a night to raise awareness of homelessness and raise vital funds to support local YMCA services. This year monies raised will go towards building a vital day centre in Lincoln.
A group of us will be camping out at Lincoln Cathedral from 7pm on Friday 15th March until 7am Saturday 16th March – so I would be grateful if you could contribute anything for such a worthy
cause.
YMCA Lincolnshire aims to improve the lives of our community's most vulnerable people. Visit: www.lincsymca.co.uk for more information.
