After twelve years of dready lovelyness I am cutting the cord and gettin' rid of them to start a fresh new phase of my life. It's a pretty big thing as they have become more a part of me than just a hair style or statement.  But it isn't just for myself I am doing this - I see an opportunity to do some good here too and help pregnant girls and women in developing countries who simply and sadly don't have access to the kind of routine checks and treatments that we have here that ensure pregnancies and births are safe, succesful and happy.  The scary statistics show that accross these developing countries 800 women and girls EACH DAY die from complications in either pregnancy or childbirth, that is utterly shocking.  This cause is close to my heart not only as a mother but as a midwife of the future because in september I will start studying to help many women here and abroad through pregnancy and childbirth.
