UPDATE! NEWS FLASH!! I have now unicycled the Coast to Coast from Whitehaven to Sunderland. It took me four days and I hope my ride will help to raise money for WaterAid.
I have added photos and words to describe my unicycle ride - please scroll down (and click on 'more updates') to see all of these.
Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me so far. And thanks to everyone who helped , cheered or just peeped their horn along the way!

Hello, I'm Rowan - thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am aged 13 and I love unicycling!!
I now want to pedal the Coast to Coast route on one wheel and raise money for Water Aid to help provide clean water in other parts of the world.
I have already cycled 100 miles in a day on two wheels - now I want to unicycle from one side of England to the other in around five days on just one wheel. During the summer holidays I will set off from Whitehaven on the west coast of Cumbria, cross the Lake District and the Pennines and end up in Newcastle. I will be accompanied by my family and we will camp along the way.
I've been out training and the other day I did 28 miles with a total of 2800 feet of ascent.
If I can raise around £500 from my charity unicycle this could pay for a new well and pump for 120 people in a village in Africa. And £700 would pay for a new public tap to provide clean water to a whole community - I would like to achieve that.
I hope you can spare a few pounds to help me reach my target of £700.
