My name is Roxy Chadwick and I am a 64-year-old fitness geek.

On Sunday 22nd April 2018 I will be taking part in the London Marathon with the aim of raising money and awareness of dementia, in aid of The K Wood Foundation (a local dementia charity for the Merseyside area). The route I will be running is a total of 26.2 miles, of which I began my training a year ago this April.

I am especially motivated because The K Wood Foundation is a charity that is close to my heart; with my Mum being diagnosed with Vascular Dementia 15 months ago. During this time, I have personally witnessed the effects of her dementia upon both my Mum and the family as a whole and have been given this golden opportunity to help the trust enhance their funds via my love of running.

My overall goal is to raise £1000.00. To help me reach my goal, I would greatly appreciate your sponsorship.
