Story
On the 31st May, I'll be taking part in the Bupa 10,000 for Beating Bowel Cancer. As many of you know, I have recently set myself the goal of raising as much money as possible for charities that are important to me by participating in events that mainly involve me using my little feet! I'm not a natural when it comes to running, so the year so far has been filled with surprises and challenges galore. You can keep track of my shenanigans here: http://runsqueezyrun.wordpress.com/
I am really proud to be running for Beating Bowel Cancer, it's a wonderful charity and is very important to me. I will be running in memory of my partner's lovely mum, Brenda, who lost her battle with bowel cancer in 2007. She was a wonderful person and loved dearly by everyone who knew her. My partner and his sister were devastated by her loss and still miss her very much. I want to run this for them, for their mum and for everyone who has been affected by this awful disease. Every single penny raised brings us a step closer to finding a cure, better treatment and most importantly, raising awareness about symptoms and early detection. I'd love you to help me reach my fundraising target, anything you can donate will make an awful lot of difference.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to read this.
Lots of love,
Squeezy
