I am taking up a huge running challenge in April and May 2017. 

On 23rd April I will be running the Blackpool Marathon. 

Then on the 28th May I will be running the Great Manchester Half Marathon AND the Great Manchester 10k. On the same day. As soon as I finish the half I'll be heading back to the start line to run the 10k!

This is a huge challenge for me. I've never run anywhere near a marathon distance before, and I've never ran two races in one day! 

I am doing this in memory of my Dad and to raise money for North West Cancer Research.

My dad died of Oesophageal Cancer on 26 June 2016.  North West Cancer Research is a local charity who are currently funding research in to this form of cancer at the moment, so it is a cause very close to my heart.
