Story
I think pretty much everyone I know has been impacted by the loss of a friend or family member to cancer of one form or another, I know I have lost a lot of friends and family over the years and while not all of them lost their hair, many did.
Can you imagine how terrible it is for a child and their family, to go through chemotherapy and watch as they lose all their hair, what impact must that have on their self-esteem and overall confidence? Can you imagine what it is like to be a ginger child? I know and kids can be really cruel!
Us red-heads are a rarity making up only 1-2% of the worlds population, so imagine being a red-headed child having to go through childhood cancer and then lose all your hair. While many kids are really resilient it is thanks to Little Princesses charity who kindly donate natural hair wigs to children. Thank goodness there is help out there for boys and girls who are impacted by this, both boys and girls who are impacted by this.
An average wig costs approx £300 to make and while the families effected by this don't have to pay Little Princesses do. So would you be kind enough to donate to this worthy cause?
Even £2 would be a contribution and please do share this post, I will be live streaming the big day when I chop off all my locks and there will be some Facebook live videos in between so do come and find me and share this story.
