This is my first marathon, and quite probably the last! I am raising money for Starlight Children's Foundation, as it is a fantastic charity who help children with life threatening or life shorting illnesses. 

The charity offers the chance to give a child suffering from an illness the opportunity to meet a hero of theirs, take part in an activity that they wouldn't usually be able to do, gives hospital and hospice visits to children to help distract them from the treatment that they have to go through and much, much more. This is such a great incentive, and I am sure everyone will agree a very worthwhile cause. 

Any donation would be a great contribution towards my target, and the charity would benefit hugely from and be very grateful. Please donate as much as possible to this fantastic cause, and give me even more reason to complete this in a respectable time!!
