Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. It all started after a social ride out and a walk in the Beacon Beacons followed by a throw away comment as we relaxed afterwards, ‘let’s combine the Three Peaks with a motorcycle ride’...and so the Blood Bikers in Walking Boots challenge was born. The challenge involves 6 walkers and a support crew of four, starting on the 28 July 2019 finishing the last peak on 3 Aug 2019.

Whilst the traditional view of the Three Peaks Challenge is to complete all within 24 hours we have an alternate plan. Our intention is to climb a peak one day, ride to the next the following day then walk the following day, thereby taking 7 days to complete the challenge. 

Each peak is a personal challenge for the riding walker, some are planning on all three, some are going to be more selective but the aim for us all is the same, raising money for the Shropshire Staffordshire Cheshire Blood bikes of which we are all active members.

As members of SSCBB we are all very much aware of the value this vital service brings to patients of the NHS and something we are all both proud and passionate about. Delivering this service is done with the highest level of professionalism from volunteers giving up many hours per week of their time. This challenge is yet another example of the dedication we all have in continuing this sometimes lifesaving service.
