Ocean Youth Trust North takes young people away from their everyday routine and inspires them to make positive changes to their lives through ‘Adventure under Sail’.
We use sailing and the traditional practices of seafaring as tools for personal and social development. The Trust is the sole provider of challenging, residential sailing expeditions in the North of England for youth of all abilities and backgrounds.
We partner with youth and educational organisations providing an opportunity for young people to achieve personal growth. The Trust is a member of the Association of Sail Training Organisations and the Institute for Outdoor Learning. It is a Royal Yachting Association Training Centre and approved to run The Duke of Edinburgh Award.
