My lovely brother Alan died of COPD  on World COPD day in 2015; it is a terrible illness and a horrible way to die.  There are two reasons why I support the British Lung Foundation.

1: Breathing affects us all, yet the BLF is the only UK organisation that looks after the Nation's lungs & provides funds for research. I have heart problems so have a personal interest too.  The BLF It is a small charity in comparison with many others, but with a big job to do and so every penny counts.  

2: I was able to set up a memorial page with the BLF for my brother and every penny raised goes on his page; this helped enormously with the grieving process at the time and still does.  I am very proud to watch how the amount grows each time and very proud of Telford salsa club for making it happen.

The club raises money every year via a Secret Raffle plus on door donations & proceeds from the annual Xmas & Summer Balls. Secret Raffles (wrapped prizes) ensure the emphasis is on giving, not receiving.  £400 in total was raised at the 15 Year Anniversary Celebration so aim to match this amount and/or exceed it.  Please donate via this link if you are unable to attend the event.
