Since I have been running for the 4-5 years, I have always wanted to run the London marathon. What more could I ask for but run the marathon for a great cause and support the trust. This month will be 10 years I have worked for the Whittington Hospital and have seen the great work we have done and continue to do. The money raised I would like to go to the cancer unit/services at the hospital. Over the years I have seen patients lose their battle against cancer but also seen many of them beat the disease with the support from the cancer unit/services. On a personal level, I have lost few colleagues/friends to the disease as well. But the work the unit/services provide and care given by the nurses/doctors is absolutely fantastic and I would like to support them.
