My father and I are trekking the Sahara in order to raise money for M.E. Research. Recently, a family member of ours was diagnosed with M.E. and we were shocked to find that very little funding had been, and continues to be, provided to research a cure for M.E. As a result, many sufferers are left with little hope of a speedy recovery and are often provided with harmful treatment plans. Many are left quietly bed bound for years. With no loud voice of their own, we wish to do something to raise funds to speed up finding a meaningful cure, not only for our family, but for others too.
