... we know he would have wanted us to raise money to help women for an industry he loved, against a disease that we all loath!!  

My Dad - Simon and I are cycling 400km over 6 consecutive days from Rajasthan to the Taj Mahal!  Dad is 74, I am 45 - yes this IS going to be a challenge.

Lens' wife Fiona and his daughter Fee are partners and dear friends of ours within the beauty industry.  Uncle Len (as he was known to all) was a huge part of everyday business and always had a smile and wink for everyone; it was heartbreaking to watch this lovely warm Scot pass away. 

Our chosen charity Look Good Feel Better is the only cancer support charity providing practical support for women struggling with the side effects from cancer treatment and we know Uncle Len would be very proud that we were raising money in his name - for them.  

LGFB is dedicated to improving self-esteem, confidence and well-being; it is their aim to improve self-image and appearance through free group and self-help nail, skincare & make-up workshops.  These create a sense of support, confidence and well-being and many beneficiaries have told LGFB that it helped them regain a sense of control and normality at time when there simply was none.  

The beauty industry is not just skin deep - we have a sense of duty to all to keep on raising money so that one day we will beat cancer and not have to watch our loved ones leave us.

We leave November 14th - that's only 2 and half months away; please give anything you can no matter how small to help us raise the £4000 we'd love to donate to Look Good Feel Better on behalf of all women for an industry we love - against a disease we loath.
