In 2017 I became a board member for Fields of Life USA (FOL USA) to encourage growth and support in the US. In 2013, I was lucky enough to experience first-hand their amazing work in Uganda. FOL collaborates with local communities and churches in East Africa, to bring about positive change through the provision of quality education, clean water, health promotion and other community based projects.

On October 7th, I will be running the Boulder Rez half marathon, to encourage funds not only to support FOL USA, but also to connect their efforts with a mission that is near and dear to my heart. 

Last year, in January 2017, I visited Amor Village in Uganda, and my life was changed. I had the pleasure of staying and being welcomed into the community and saw the unbelievable work the Pearl Community Empowerment Foundation is doing to create sustainable living through farming, water, education and community building. 

So! To further support their efforts, my mom, family and I, with the opportunity that FOL can provide for this community, hope to raise enough money to build them a new water well in honor of my late father, Peter Hajdu. 

Help us to start this process to reach $10,000 and carry on his legacy of SERVING others in heart, mind, and body, to encourage the mission of FOL, and to empower the work that is already changing lives in Amor Village... let's build a well for Petey!!
