Story

Hello there,

Thank you for visiting my page.

I'm fundraising for St George's Kidney Patients Association in order to give back for the support they provided for my (future) father-in-law, as well as the rest of the family. Please check out their website: http://www.sgkpa.org.uk/

A few months ago, on a warm August evening, I received a message in a group chat highlighting a 100km 'ultra' race that went from London to Brighton over the May bank holiday. Myself and the rest of the 'Tears for Beers' crew signed up with haste, perhaps not properly thinking through what was ahead of us!

The event itself can be ran, jogged or, in our case, walked. It's going to be tough, a solid 24+ hours of walking over a bank holiday. It'll be a real challenge and test of endurance, but knowing that I'll be raising money for an extremely worthy cause will keep me going.

Thanks for reading, I'll keep this page updated with training progress and will no doubt be promoting this page heavily, any donations received will be greatly appreciated by SGKPA and, of course, myself.

Thank you

Sam
