My Story

In April I will be running my first ever marathon. Running has been a big part of my recovery from mental illness and something that continues to keep me well. From experiencing mental health problems from a young age I am wanting to raise money for a local charity that do fantastic work and can really benefit young people. There is currently very few services specifically designed to support young people's mental in Dorset. The earlier people are given support the better chance people have in their recovery. I feel that if I was to receive help and support earlier I wouldn't have spent so many years in and out of hospital. So please donate if you can and support a local charity to raise essential funds.
