I am running my very first half marathon in June - I only started running earlier this year so it will be a challenge and a fantastic way to fundraise for a small charity based here in the SW. Our daughter had open heart surgery when she was 5 months old as she was born with a heart defect. It was  a very scary time for us and we were grateful for all the  support that we were given at that time and want to give something back so that it may be a help to others.
