Story
Thursday 27th April last year started as any normal day but I’ll always remember it as the day my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer.
When I heard the news I was beside myself and my first thought was “Is she going to die?”
Fast forward a year and over 60 hospital visits later my lovely mum is still here thanks to the incredible treatment she has received. I’ve realised how important research into treatment is to keep helping thousands of people just like my mum.
I decided to enter the Great South Run as if my mum can get through 6 bouts of chemotherapy then I can run 10 miles!
Any donations greatly appreciated
