We provide specialist palliative care to comfort patients and their families

Story

This is definitely going to be my toughest challenge to date, travelling to Tanzania and walking up Kilimanjaro, the highest free standing mountain on the planet at 5895M tall.

I am going with people I have met over social media (Instagram) and am paying for the trip myself.

I would really appreciate it if you could show some support and help me raise money for Nightingale Hospice in the process.

They do such great work for people in their time of need and have helped many close friends and family.

For over 20 years staff here at Nightingale House Hospice have created an environment that gives patients and their loved ones quality time to spend together. Not having to worry about the care a loved one receives, knowing they are in safe hands means every second spent together is dignified and peaceful. Without support such as yours, our specialist palliative care units wouldn’t be able to deliver such high standards.

About the charity

Nightingale House offers a wide range of facilities to local people and their families living with life-limiting illness. Patients come from Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire and outlying areas. In 2024 it will cost £4,900,513 million to run the Hospice - this equates to nearly £13,389 per day.
