Hello! 

I'm running the Preston 10k with my lovely colleagues to raise money for the wonderful charity we work for, Curious Minds. 

I don't really like running, and whenever I've forced myself to in the past generally need to stop to catch my breath every few hundred meters. But I'm not prepared to lose face in front of my workmates, so am in full training to make sure I'm at least able to finish this at a consistent slowish pace!

Curious Minds is a charity that exists to improve the lives of children and young people by increasing opportunities for their active participation in art and culture. We do this by connecting schools and other providers of children's services with a vibrant offer of cultural education and creative learning opportunities creating the conditions in which quality and collaboration flourish.

Our work targets children and young people in some of the areas of most socio economic disadvantage in the country. We support the art,
culture and education sector so that these children and young people can enjoy rich art and cultural experiences.
