Our beautiful little princess Ivy Jo 💗 was born sleeping on the 12th of October at 15:35 weighing a healthy 7lbs 5 1/2 oz. We left the house that morning on the the assumption we would be returning home with our beautiful little prince/princess. Instead we experienced every parents worst nightmare. To be told that our little baby's heart was no longer beating put my partner, her mum and I in complete shock and disbelief. To hear the news that my partner still had to endure the labour was frightening to say the least. The strength and courage this woman showed me on this horrendous day was incredible. After the arrival of our little angel Ivy Jo 💗 we were taken to the ward, where we were allowed to spend the night with our baby girl. We were able to bath and dress and cwtch her in for the night. We were provided with a box which contained things like hand and footprint moulds, a candle, a glass angel, a poem, a book. We were also provided with a teddy from "aching arms" and other things similar to be kept as mementos. Little did we know that a box no bigger than a shoe box could contain our most precious and treasured possessions. We have selected this charity so they can continue to provide parents with these mementos for them to keep as precious memories of their precious angels 💗. We are also holding a fund raising tea/coffee morning on the 29th of April 9:30- 4:30 at St Peters civic hall carmarthen. Which will include cake sales, raffles and other fund raising activities.
