Helping hundreds of children by offering bereavement support for young people and their families in Cornwall. Providing Memory Days, support groups and training for volunteers and professionals. Penhaligon's Friends relies entirely on the generous support of individuals, groups and businesses.

Story

I've always enjoyed running but this this is the biggest challenge I've ever attempted.

The RAT Plague course is 64 miles with 10,600ft of climbing. Starting at 00:05 with the first few hours in darkness along the coastal path.

Before race day the longest I'll have ever in my life run is half this distance, never with this amount of climbing, completing is my only target.

I'm hoping to raise a thousand pounds for Penhaligon's Friends a small Cornish charity supporting bereaved children, young people, parents and carers. They offer children and young people the chance to meet others and share their experiences, as well as practical resources for children and parents.
