Story

In September 2015 my world came crashing down when my son aged 15 months choked on a blackberry whilst out on a family walk.

I had to perform CPR on my son, which is something no mother should have to go through. I was unable to re-start his heart. When the fantastic East Anglian Air Ambulance arrived the doctors on board ventalated my son on the scene and was able to re-start his heart.

After being taken to our local hospital it was decided he would need to be transferred to Addenbrookes hospital for specialist care. Later the same day he was transferred there. However, after only an hour of being there we were told to expect the worse.

We were given 3 further days with Thomas but unfortunately it was time for him to grow his angel wings.

This has devastated our family which includes our 2 older girls aged 4 and 5, at the time.

I want to raise money for the air ambulance as they gave us precious time with Thomas, time we will treasure forever.

You don't realise how vital this service is until you need them yourselves. So please support this fantastic charity. Thankyou for reading.
