I’ve been losing weight with slimming world and have dumped (not literally, fortunately) the best part of 5 stone since February. While trying to find something to keep my mind active and my fingers out of the cookie jar I came up with the idea to focus on raising money for the Make-A-Wish foundation.

I stumbled across the idea of animating art and photographs while looking at the various photograph and animation software available for a totally different project.

The mediumship aspects I work with often means I see people in photographs move and faces around me so I had to see whether there was a way I could capture this for a few seconds and this idea was formed.

Making a picture move is easy with so many apps available these days but the magic for me is sitting with the image a really attempting to grasp and demonstrate the personalities captured by some truly phenomenal Spirit Artists. At times there’s a good enough connection to enable me to provide information to the artist or owner about the subject or person and their confirmation really helps.

I’ve been so touched by those that have rallied round to support what I’m doing. New friends and old. Talented Spirit Artists and tutors.

I'm taking beautiful photographs and drawings and with the aid of a few modern software programs bringing them to life. I suggest a donation of £4 each yet so many have been generous when receiving the animation file. At present all funds are going to the Make a wish foundation.

A friends page for the RSPCA has also benefited from this work to the tune of £47.07 so a big thanks to those that contributed.

I know that gradually the money will make a big difference to Make A Wish and ultimately a child facing a very difficult future.

Make-A-Wish UK grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Don't forget UK tax paying friends that you can boost your donation by choosing the GIFT AID option and I think it's equivalent to an additional 25% that Make a Wish get instead of our lovely friends in the tax office so well worth a couple of tick boxes!
