The transplant is done and both Mark and I are doing well! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!  We will keep the donation site up a few more weeks to see how far over our original goal we can get! 

PKD is a genetic disease that runs in my family and I have been fortunate enough to be spared the disease, but it continues to flow through generations of my family. I am proud to be following in the footsteps of my Mother, who donated to a family member over 20 years ago and although I am grateful to be able to make a difference to my recipient, I hope that I am the last one in our family who has to make this decision.
