Story

All of the work undertaken by the 1st Sensory Legion is completely
funded by donations and everything is run by a team of volunteers headed  up by two of the most amazing people you are every likely to meet.

Sharon & Sam decided to Run Disney in 2016 for Feel the Force Day and it was one of the most rewarding and fun experiences we have ever had. So in 2017 we are doing it all again - this time with Jonathan and Mandy.

Jonathan has cerebal palsy and just becuase he is in a wheel chair that doesn't slow him down, he ice skates and trampolines amongst other things, is a massive scifi fan and loves trucks and cars.

Mandy is Jonathan's assistant (and the queen of baking - you should try her biscuits) and they do loads together so it was natural that when Mandy said she wanted to join us that Jonathan would be too.

Between us we are hoping to smash the total of £1,000 we raised last year .

We are running a variety of races between us across the weekend : 5k, 10k and half marathon.

For those of you that don't know Feel the Force Day events are film and TV conventions with a difference. The events are designed around disabled people and make them as accessible as possible. Find out more at http://www.feeltheforceday.com
